Secure Weekly Pickups of Fresh and Locally Grown Veggies!

Your Food Security Is Grown Here – And 2026 Is Our Biggest Season Ever

2026 Spring/Summer CSA – Now with Flexible Choice!

Our CSA is evolving for 2026!

We're switching from fixed pre-packed bags to a credit-based "pick-your-own" system, so you can choose exactly what your family loves each week. This means less waste, more flexibility, and the same fresh, chemical-free veggies from our fields. The season runs 10 weeks, starting in early May, with Sunday pickups in Hillsboro, Whitney, and Laguna Park.

Full Shares, Half Shares and Mini Shares Available!

There is something for everyone with this year's offering. Full shares for large families, half shares for small families, and mini shares for those who want a taste of the CSA life! If you have a friend or neighbor that you would like to split a membership with, the full share is the best value of the three options.

How Credits Work

The full share will include 10 credits per week toward choose-your-own vegetables; the half share will include five credits; and the mini share will include salad mix plus two credits.

Credits allow you to "shop" our harvest based on availability. Credit values adjust weekly based on harvest abundance, so you'll always get great value—bountiful weeks mean more per credit!

How Much Will I Get Each Week?

It depends on your share size and what plan you choose! With the new credit system:

  • Full Share (10 credits): Enough for a family of 4–6, like a big haul of tomatoes, corn, squash, and melons.
  • Half Share (5 credits): Great for 2–3 people, such as a mix of salad greens, cucumbers, and peppers.
  • Mini Share (1 bag salad mix + 2 credits): Perfect for 1–2 people, with guaranteed greens plus extras like carrots or eggplant.

When Does the Season Start?

The season will start on May 3rd and will last through June 28th. We will skip the week of July 4th in honor of our nation's 250th birthday, then have one more pickup on July 11th, for a total of 10 weeks.  This will also give us more time for the fan-favorite crops like melon and okra to really start producing.

I love all my fresh produce from Pappy Jacks. The salad mix is a favorite as it allows me to make a variety of salads quickly. Another bonus is the new things I have tried just because the vegetables were in my sack. Kale chips are the only chips in my house now. I had never had butternut squash before and have discovered I love it stuffed with sausage and cranberries. Gabe and Rachel are the best!!!

Thank you for providing a healthy source of homegrown veggies. I appreciate all that you do to provide for the citizens of your community here in Whitney.

We love the beautiful and tasty vegetables we have received from our Pappy Jack CSA trial. We were so disappointed when it ended - you cannot find veggies and salad bags like this anywhere else. We always received a great selection, with suggestions on how to use it as well (if asked). They are so very helpful, friendly, and you feel to be part of the family. Highly recommend!

You can't buy veggies from a store that will stay fresh for 2 weeks or more. Pappy Jack Farms is number one in my book.

I am glad to support our local CSA. Telling other people about y'all and what you do for all of us. Explaining what a CSA, community-supported agriculture, system is and how it is accomplished is a lot of work.

The perk is the taste of homegrown vegetables. The variety is always nice, and what I don't or can not eat, I can share with others. Sometimes I can the produce in small batches for later use.

I enjoy y'all's farm share because it makes us try things we never would before! Butternut squash soup, carrots, kale, beets, and of course, your salad mix!

What is a CSA?

Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) is a model that fosters a partnership between farmers and community members. In a CSA, members support the farmer by sharing the risks and rewards of running a vegetable farm. By purchasing a share of the harvest before the season begins, you help cover the farm's early seasonal expenses. This upfront payment provides a solid financial foundation, allowing us to remain resilient before that season's crops are harvested.
