Our Fall/Winter CSA includes 10 weekly pickups of fresh, locally grown veggies, starting in October and lasting through December.
We offer a credit-based "pick-your-own" system so you choose exactly what your family loves each week.
The season runs for 10 weeks, with Sunday pickups starting on October 10th and continuing through December 12th, with convenient pickup locations in Whitney, Hillsboro, and Laguna Park.
Full Share @ $319 includes 8 credits per week – ideal for families of 4–6 or sharing with a neighbor (best value!)
Half Share @ $209 includes 4 credits per week – perfect for 2–4 people
Use your credits to shop the weekly harvest. Values adjust based on abundance — bountiful weeks mean more per credit!
Examples of what 1 credit often buys: - sweet potatoes - a pint of cherry tomatoes - a bag of salad mix - a head of romaine - butternut squash - 4 bell peppers - a head of broccoli or cabbage - bunched carrots or kale - and more as crops roll in.
Full Share (8 credits): Enough for 4–6 people — e.g., salad mix, pint cherry tomatoes, bunched kale, broccoli, cauliflower, sweet corn, salad peppers.
Half Share (4 credits): Balanced for 2–4 — e.g., salad mix, quart of okra, 4 bell peppers, head of romaine, quart of jalapenos.

When ordering, you can also add a dozen eggs per week to your CSA order for an additional $50. There are just 10 egg ons available for half shares and 15 for full shares. Our hens get 10,000 square feet of pasture to forage on and are moved biweekly to fresh ground. They also get all our chemical-free seconds and leftover veggies nearly every day. They have to be the best-fed hens in Hill County!

I love all my fresh produce from Pappy Jacks. The salad mix is a favorite as it allows me to make a variety of salads quickly. Another bonus is the new things I have tried just because the vegetables were in my sack. Kale chips are the only chips in my house now. I had never had butternut squash before and have discovered I love it stuffed with sausage and cranberries. Gabe and Rachel are the best!!!
Thank you for providing a healthy source of homegrown veggies. I appreciate all that you do to provide for the citizens of your community here in Whitney.
We love the beautiful and tasty vegetables we have received from our Pappy Jack CSA trial. We were so disappointed when it ended - you cannot find veggies and salad bags like this anywhere else. We always received a great selection, with suggestions on how to use it as well (if asked). They are so very helpful, friendly, and you feel to be part of the family. Highly recommend!
You can't buy veggies from a store that will stay fresh for 2 weeks or more. Pappy Jack Farms is number one in my book.
I am glad to support our local CSA. Telling other people about y'all and what you do for all of us. Explaining what a CSA, community-supported agriculture, system is and how it is accomplished is a lot of work.
The perk is the taste of homegrown vegetables. The variety is always nice, and what I don't or can not eat, I can share with others. Sometimes I can the produce in small batches for later use.
I enjoy y'all's farm share because it makes us try things we never would before! Butternut squash soup, carrots, kale, beets, and of course, your salad mix!
Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) is a model that fosters a partnership between farmers and community members. In a CSA, members support the farmer by sharing the risks and rewards of running a vegetable farm. By purchasing a share of the harvest before the season begins, you help cover the farm's early seasonal expenses. This upfront payment provides a solid financial foundation, allowing us to remain resilient before that season's crops are harvested.
